THE FINALISTS HAVE BEEN CHOSEN!
RADICAL INNOVATION FINALISTS ANNOUNCED
Out-of-the-box entries vie for $10,000 grand prize.

LAS VEGAS (April 30, 2012) Leading edge hospitality trailblazers will compete to win the audience vote and a $10,000 grand prize at the HD Expo 2012 Radical Innovation In Hospitality competition on May 15.  These avant garde thinkers will have their project entries showcased on display boards at the Hospitality Design Exposition & Conference (HD Expo) taking place at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas May 15 to 17, 2012. Three juried finalists and one student winner receive round-trip air travel and hotel accommodation. The three finalists will present their entry to the HD Conference audience in the 2012 awards show, hosted by HGTV's Vern Yip from 2 - 4 PM in the Venetian Veronese Ballroom near the Expo exhibit hall. The audience will then cast the deciding votes.

Co-founded and produced by The John Hardy Group (JHG) and Hospitality Design Group (HD Group), the Radical Innovation in Hospitality Award is the only global hospitality development competition that promotes innovation and thought-leadership in hospitality. Each entry must be truly innovative and offer the hospitality market something that either does not exist or is not widely available. The designs can be built or unbuilt but must include guestrooms/suites and lobby/public areas (food and beverage facilities and other amenities optional). This remarkable opportunity showcases the best hospitality strategies in architecture and interior design that incorporate new concepts and enhance the guest experience, providing a platform for professional practitioners and students around the world to present their approach to radical innovation in the hospitality field.

This year's jury-selected finalists and student winner promise an exciting competition:
